The name "Pixels Of You" is a play on words from a song by the 80's band, The Cure. Their song was called "Pictures of you". I received a message online from someone who had been looking at my webpage and they typed the message "I've been looking so long at these pixels of you that I almost believe that they're real...", which is the first line of The Cure song.

I wanted a website to use for contract position that had been opening up to me. I have spent a lot of my career working on in-house development teams, so I never really had a "portfolio"... I thought this website could be a good start.
